Tom Amandes

Tom Amandes plays Judge Fanning, Carl Dunne, and the Sheriff in Ep. Two.

BORN IN: Burlington, WI – “That’s what my birth certificate says. But my family lived in Richmond, Illinois – just across the border. Mom was not a fan of the local doctor, so she found one in Wisconsin. (These are big decisions. Especially when you’re having 11 children.) And no, I am not and never have been a Packers fan. Never will be.”

LIVED IN: “I have lived mainly in Illinois and California, in the cities of Chicago and Los Angeles and Chicago. Though we did live in Utah for five or six years when I was shooting Everwood. Which was beautiful and endless.”

Tom was born in rural Illinois at the age of 0. By 9, he was entertaining large audiences (namely his 10 brothers and sisters) with his bitingly satirical puppet show Press the Meat. It’s all been downhill from there. After starting his professional career on stage in Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles to work in film and TV shows such as The Long Kiss Goodnight, Brokedown Palace, Saving Lincoln, Everwood, From the Earth to the Moon and The Untouchables. He is an actor and director with the IAMA Theatre in LA, and coordinates neighborhood fruit picks with the Hollywood Orchard. He is married to his Untouchables co-star Nancy Everhard. And he’s the proud father of three fascinating children and three feisty grandchildren – soon to be four. Grandchildren. Not children.
