Shane is an Emmy-nominated writer (for Amazon’s Tumble Leaf) and the head of development for Bix Pix Entertainment, an Emmy/Annie/Annecy/BAFTA-award-winning stop motion animation studio in Burbank, CA. He penned two episodes that were official selections of the Annecy International Film Festival: “The Wooly Dragon” from Moonlight Storytime (produced by HMH Publishing’s Curious World app) in 2016 and “What Sounds Like Thunder” from Kinderwood (produced by Nick Jr./Noggin) in 2021.
He’s written for Amazon, Apple TV+, & Nick Jr. and has developed material for Disney, Warner Brothers, Apple TV+, Nick Jr, Scholastic, and the National Wildlife Federation. And, in 2023, he directed and co-wrote the Halloween podcast series Hollow Head Pete & the Wicked Wish for Bix Pix and Atomic Toybox Entertainment.
A theater grad from Point Park University, he cut his teeth on the windy streets of Chicago’s vibrant comedy scene at places like Second City and iO.
Paul Pakler is one of our co-creator/co-directors. He also plays Thomas Percy, Horace, and the Newscaster.

Paul is an actor and writer. He wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Living Room. Paul also wrote and directed the webseries Letters for the New Ambassadors Theatre Company. He currently co-hosts the film review podcast Paul and Corey Cross the Streams.
