Erik Nyquist is a freelance producer/audio-engineer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter in Astoria, NY. He received an Audio Engineering degree from S.A.E. New York in 2004 while working at RPM Studios with engineer Andy Sarroff (LCD Soundsystem, UNKLE). He has worked with musicians such as Ryan Adams and Joseph Arthur as well as working with producers & engineers such as Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith, & KISS), John Jansen (Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton), and Bill Racine (Flaming Lips, Phantom Planet). He has also recorded and toured with indie rock bands such as The GoStation, Blackpool, & Fugitive Souls since 2005.
