Becky Poole plays Elizabeth “Buts” Wyland, the Operator, and is the Singing Saw Musician behind the magical Missus Best Friend

Becky Poole is an actor, voice director, writer, and musician based in LA. She has an extensive background in sketch and improv comedy with The Second City, UCB, and venues all over the country. You can hear her on Netflix’s “Dogs in Space”, Nickelodeon, Nintendo, and WB Games. She directed voices for Apple TV’s “Strange Planet.” Her TV/Film credits include Robert Smigel’s “Let’s Be Real”, winning a car on “Let’s Make a Deal”, playing in a fake band for Netflix’s “Girlboss” and playing the musical saw in a real band for St Vincent and Carrie Brownstein’s film “The Nowhere Inn.”

Not to be hyperbolic but there was sort of a golden thread of sweetness and care throughout the Hobo Code experience. Kind, talented, people really showing up for the piece. Specifically as a voice actor, sometimes rather solitary work, it’s pretty darn great when you are moved to tears and laughter by scene partners near and far through the headphones.
